A cross on a mound,
A tomb in the ground,
Then a high road to Gallilee;
Thirty-three years,
Three days of tears,
Mankind led to eternity.

A paid-up debt,
A promise kept,
The plan of the Father fulfilled;
Thus, in God’s way,
Mankind was saved,
Though man be perverse and self-willed.

God’s grace for man,
To understand,
Salvation and Redemption;
Thirty-three years,
Three days of tears,
Rebirth and Resurrection.
