Snowman.

Do you need a snowman for your winter graphics?

 Get my selections here and zip them up in your PSP, Selections folder.
The branch on the hat and the bow are included also. Zip them up in your PSP Image folder.

Start with a New Image, 300 x 400, transp, 16 mill.
New Layer. Call it Head. Selections, Load from disk, snowman, head.sel.
Flood Fill with white color. Keep it selected. Selections, Float.
Effects, Cutout as below.

Deselect.

New Layer. Call it Face. Selections, Load from disk, snowman, face.sel.
Flood Fill with black color. Deselect.

New Layer. Call it Nose. Selections, Load from disk, snowman, nose.sel.
Flood Fill with color #FA8444. Keep it selected.
New Layer. Airbrush3, color #B55A29. Make some lines on the nose-carrot like this.

Retouch Tool, Smudge3, Opacity 40.

Close Layers Head and Face. Layers, Merge, Merge Visible. Call it Nose.
Keep it selected. Selections, Float. Effects, Cutout as before,
but change the color to #AF5841. Deselect.

New Layer. Call it Hattop. Selections, Load from disk, snowman, hattop.sel.
Flood Fill with black color. Keep it selected. Selections, Float.
Effects, Cutout as before, but change the color to #040DB8. Deselect.

New Layer. Call it Highlight. Selections, Load from disk, snowman, highlight.sel.
Flood Fill with color #333573. Deselect. Effects, Blur, Gaussian Blur2.

New Layer. Call it Hatbrim1. Selections, Load from disk, snowman, hatbrim1.sel.
Flood Fill with color #333573. Deselect.

New Layer. Call it Hatbrim2. Selections, Load from disk, snowman, hatbrim2.sel.
Flood Fill with black color. Deselect.

Now you have to put some decorations on the hat.

Stand on Layer Highlight. New Layer. Call it Star. 
Selections, Load from disk, snowman, star.sel. Flood Fill with color #FEE300. Deselect.
 
Get the branch and bow you got in the zip.

Copy and Paste the branch as a New Layer. Place it at the front, behind the hatbrim.

Copy and Paste the bow as a New Layer. Place it under the chin.

You are all done now. That was a quick tutorial, wasn´t it?

Just to make a test, I made the snowman out of wood also.
