Snowman with broom.

I have made selections for you. Get them here and zip them up in your PSP
Selections folder. The zip also includes a lantern, face and a moon. Unzip them
in your PSP Image folder.

Start with a New Image 250 x 250, transp, 16 mill.
New Layer. Call it Rim. Selections, Load from disk, snowmanwbroom, rim.sel.
Flood Fill with color  #CBD2E1. Selections, Float. Effects, 3D, Cutout as below.

Deselect.

New Layer. Call it Top. Selections, Load from disk, snowmanwbroom, top.sel.
Flood Fill with color  #E9EBEE. Selections, Float. Effects, 3D, Cutout as before,
but change Opacity to 40. Deselect.

New Layer. Call it Meltsnow. Selections, Load from disk,
snowmanwbroom, meltsnow.sel. Flood Fill with color #E4E4EA.
Selections, Float. Effects, 3D, Cutout as below.

Deselect.

Layers, Merge, Merge Visible. Call the layer Ice.

New Layer. Call it Body1. Selections, Load from disk,
snowmanwbroom, body1.sel. Flood Fill with white color.
Selections, Float. Effects, 3D, Cutout as below.

Deselect.

New Layer. Call it Arm1. Selections, Load from disk,
snowmanwbroom, arm1.sel. Flood Fill with white color.
Selections, Float. Effects, 3D, Cutout as below.

Deselect.

New Layer. Call it Body2. Selections, Load from disk,
snowmanwbroom, body2.sel. Flood Fill with white color.
Selections, Float. Effects, 3D, Cutout as on Arm1. Deselect.

Deselect.

New Layer. Call it Buttons. Selections, Load from disk,
snowmanwbroom, buttons.sel. Flood Fill with white color.
Selections, Float. Effects, 3D, Cutout as below.

Deselect.

New Layer. Call it Arm2. Selections, Load from disk,
snowmanwbroom, arm2.sel. Flood Fill with white color.
Selections, Float. Effects, 3D, Cutout as on Arm1.

Close Layer Ice. Layers, Merge, Merge Visible. Call the layer Body.

New Layer. Call it Scarf1. Selections, Load from disk,
snowmanwbroom, scarf1.sel. Flood Fill with color #969AA2.
Selections, Float. Effects, 3D, Cutout as below.

Deselect.

New Layer. Call it Mitten1. Selections, Load from disk,
snowmanwbroom, mitten1.sel. Flood Fill with color #B5B9C5. Deselect.

New Layer. Call it Stick. Selections, Load from disk,
snowmanwbroom, stick.sel. Flood Fill with color #969AA2.
Selections, Float. Effects, 3D, Cutout as below.

Deselect.

New Layer. Call it Mitten1a. Selections, Load from disk,
snowmanwbroom, mitten1a.sel. Flood Fill with white color.
Selections, Float. Effects, 3D, Cutout as below.

Deselect.

New Layer. Call it Brush1. Selections, Load from disk,
snowmanwbroom, brush1.sel. Flood Fill with color #ECEFF6.
Selections, Float. Effects, 3D, Cutout as below.

Deselect.

New Layer. Call it Brush2. Selections, Load from disk,
snowmanwbroom, brush2.sel. Set Match Mode to None
and you will fill all selections with just one click.

Flood Fill with color #86888C. Deselect.

New Layer. Call it Rings. Selections, Load from disk,
snowmanwbroom, rings.sel. Flood Fill with color #626169. Deselect.

Close Layer Ice. Layers, Merge, Merge Visible. Call it Body.

New Layer. Call it Hatpart. Selections, Load from disk,
snowmanwbroom, hatpart.sel. Flood Fill with color #78777F.
Selections, Float. Effects, 3D, Cutout as below.

Deselect.

New Layer. Call it Head. Selections, Load from disk,
snowmanwbroom, head.sel. Flood Fill with white color.
Selections, Float. Effects, 3D, Cutout as below.

Deselect.

Get the face you got in the zip. Copy and Paste it as a New Layer.
Call it Face. Put it in place with your Mover.

New Layer. Call it Hattop. Selections, Load from disk,
snowmanwbroom, hattop.sel. Flood Fill with color #C3C5CD.
Selections, Float. Effects, 3D, Cutout as below.

Deselect.

New Layer. Call it Hatband. Selections, Load from disk,
snowmanwbroom, hatband.sel. Flood Fill with color #D5DEE7.
Selections, Float. Effects, 3D, Cutout as below.

Deselect.

New Layer. Call it Hatbrim. Selections, Load from disk,
snowmanwbroom, hatbrim.sel. Flood Fill with color #8A898F.
Selections, Float. Effects, 3D, Cutout as below.

Deselect.

New Layer. Call it Scarf2. Selections, Load from disk,
snowmanwbroom, scarf2.sel. Flood Fill with color #B0B3BC.
Selections, Float. Effects, 3D, Cutout as below.

Deselect.

New Layer. Call it Scarf3. Selections, Load from disk,
snowmanwbroom, scarf3.sel. Flood Fill with color #A1A4AB.
Selections, Float. Effects, 3D, Cutout as before. Deselect.

New Layer. Call it Mitten2. Selections, Load from disk,
snowmanwbroom, mitten2.sel. Flood Fill with color #B5B9C5.  Deselect.

New Layer. Call it Mitten2a. Selections, Load from disk,
snowmanwbroom, mitten2a.sel. Flood Fill with white color.
Selections, Float. Effects, 3D, Cutout as below.

Deselect.

Get the lantern you got in the zip. Copy and Paste it as a New Layer.
Call it Lantern. Place it on the snowmans hand.

Get the moon you got in the zip. Copy and Paste it as a New Layer.
Place it in the sky behind the snowman.

Stand on Layer Body. New layer. Airbrush3. Color Black.
Make some dark lines for the shadow .

Retouch tool, Smudge as below.

Smudge the lines and make a nice shadow.

Stand on Layer Scarf2. Effects, 3D, Drop Shadow as below.

Stand on Layer Scarf3. Effects, 3D, Drop Shadow as below.

Stand on Layer Hatbrim. Effects, 3D, Drop Shadow as before.

Stand on Layer Hatband. Effects, 3D, Drop Shadow as below.

Stand on Layer Lantern. Effects, 3D, Drop Shadow as below.

Now, have a look at your picture. If you want to change anything, do so now.

When you like what you see. Layers, Merge, Merge Visible and you are done.
